The new motiHSE application turns the mobile phone into a powerful safety device that allows your workforce to report or be aware of hazards anywhere, any time via their GPS location. motiHSE does not require any additional hardware and is compatible with all smart phones and other GPS devices. The application has the potential to reduce workplace risk, avoid workplace injuries, prevent minor incidents from escalating and increase duty of care for all employees.

Incident Management

motiHSE allows people working in the field or other remote locations to report safety incidents as they occur and receive up to date HSE information. Safety risks are reported in real time, tagged with their GPS location, date and time of the incident and are recorded for future safety reporting.  Notifications are sent via mobile phone to all others in the affected area as well as to relevant emergency response personnel and management. This immediately informs the chain of command and ensures emergency support if needed.

HSE Messages

Workplace conditions constantly change; motiHSE can provide targeted field staff with proactive reminders about health hazards relevant to them such as heat exhaustion, the importance of hydration and the dangers of fatigue, direct to their phones. motiHSE can improve hazard awareness and observations including Safety Alerts, Take 5's and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) assessments, easily accommodating corporate and government health and safety requirements. The application can also function as a workplace mustering tool, announcing and coordinating HSE activities, i.e. toolbox meetings, safety meetings and emergency response training.

Location Aware

Whether your employees are working alone, travelling between sites or being mustered during an emergency, motiHSE provides regular updates specific to their location to ensure they are working in a safe environment.  The application provides organisations with the ability to instantly inform their workforce of restricted areas based on their current location supporting controlling exposure to hazards and the protection of environmentally sensitive and heritage sites.

HSE Compliance

motiHSE provides unique identifiers (codes) on every notification distributed. This is to ensure your organisation meets the document and record control processes of ISO18001, ISO9001 and ISO14001.  The application produces reports from a central database for all types of notifications, e.g. hazards, incidents, health messages, Take 5 reminders and behaviour observations. The reports form an auditable notification record of incidents and may assist in developing the event timeline during investigations. motiHSE also maintains a history of safety messages in the central database, useful for providing a rapid response to audit requests. The data can also be input to an organisation's existing incident management and safety systems.
